Beauty and The Beast Paramount Theatre - Seattle Theatre reviews
Carlos Santana rocked the House
Carlos Santana surprised me playing some of the "new stuff" although he was playing some of the old vibrant and alive. I thought this was going to be a bit of a trip down memory lane and I have to admit I've been listening to both these guys since the 70's. Even if I saw him on the next stop, it would be absolutely different and alive all over again, worth the price of the ticket alone. Seeing Carlos Santana was worth the price of the ticket alone. I just wish he could have played longer.
Rod Stewart was fine but Beauty and The Beast brought the house down. Rod Stewart was exactly what I expected and he was the Rod Stewart that I remember. I think that he had the audience sing a bit too much as I didn't come to hear them sing. Rod Stewart was pleasurable and talked to the audience as if they were in his living room.
